About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional colleague to take up a new role in the academy as Behaviour and Culture Manager, having a pivotal role in promoting and developing positive behaviours across the school. You will work closely with staff, parents, and students to implement approaches and strategies that support academic and personal growth, encourage respect, responsibility and resilience and develop social and emotional resilience to ensure the academy is a calm and safe environment enabling all learners to be successful.
This role includes working with our pastoral and behaviour teams to implement and monitor appropriate structures and systems to ensure the academy’s behaviour expectations and ethos are embedded. The role involves line management responsibilities and will require a new colleague with excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work methodically and with an attention to detail to maintain whole- school systems whilst also being creative in approach to working with individual students on a daily basis.
This position is 37 hours per week (0800-1600 Monday-Thursday, 0800-1530 Friday) and is term-time only (including INSET days) plus four additional weeks.
The initial rate of pay is the equivalent of £18.72 per hour, paid monthly over 12 months. The pay scale has six spinal points and increments are awarded in September until the top of the pay scale is reached. The pay range FTE is £36,124 - £39,513. Actual starting salary pro-rata is £34,251 per annum.
